Xiaomi has officially launched the Mi 9T smartphone, the newest member of the popular Mi 9 flagship series. The Mi 9T is nearly identical to the recently announced Redmi K20. The Redmi K20 is available from China but lacks compatibility with some international mobile network frequencies, particularly 700MHz (Band 28) which is often a requirement for some users. Thankfully, the Mi 9T is fully compatible with all Australian mobile network providers including Telstra, Vodafone and Optus.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T is available in either red or blue colours with each having an impressive colour shifting flame design. There is also a black variant with carbon fiber finish. Expect a stunning visual experience thanks to the 6.39-inch AMOLED full screen display with 3D four-sided curved glass. There’s also an in-display fingerprint sensor that makes unlocking faster, smarter, and more secure.
The Mi 9T sports the same best-in-class Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 730 SoC as the Redmi K20. Photographs will impress as you shoot with the rear 48MP triple camera setup or 20MP pop-up front camera. The Mi 9T also comes equipped with a large 4000mAh battery, NFC and Hi-Res Audio certification.
Xiaomi Australia is yet to stock the Mi 9T but we will watch closely for any updates.
