Xiaomi has officially released the Redmi Note 7 Pro in China. Similar to the Redmi Note 7, the Redmi Note 7 Pro Specifications feature an upgraded 11nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC, Adreno 612 GPU, and is priced to sell. Unfortunately, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro will not officially reach any international markets outside of China and India. Compare Redmi Note 7 vs Redmi Note 7 Pro.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro looks amazing thanks to its slim 1.95mm bezels and large 6.3″ FHD+ Dot Notch Display. It features a 2.5D gradient reflective glass back that changes colour with light. This is sandwiched front and back with Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5. This will help protect against minor scratches and tumbles. The new gradient finish has been achieved via a 6-layer process to give Redmi Note 7 Pro an all-new chic look.

Worth noting is the newly introduced splash proof P2i nano-coating. This will repel accidental liquid spills and light rain but is not waterproof. All openings including Type-C USB port are sealed with a custom rubberised material to keep any liquid from seeping in. You’ll have the option of 64GB or 128GB of internal storage with the ability to expand via the hybrid SIM tray. Memory will include either 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X SDRAM. On the software side, out of the box you will find MIUI 10 installed which is based on Android Pie.

The Redmi Note 7 has been nicknamed the “48MP camera beast”, this is well-deserving thanks to the killer flagship-level Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.79 aperture + 5MP AI dual rear camera setup. The magic is created by using 4 times the pixels or a 1.6μm 4-in-1 Super Pixel compared to a typical 12MP smartphone camera, resulting in a resolution that is nothing short of astounding. As usual a LED flash is present, and a newly introduced AI-powered steady handheld night photography mode. Recording 4K video at 30fps is also possible on the rear camera and features EIS. On the front you’ll find a 13MP selfie camera with AI Face Unlock as an option.

Powering the Redmi Note 7 Pro is a Quick Charge 4.0 Lithium-ion Polymer (Li-Po) 4000mAh battery. Other features include audio output via the 3.5 mm jack, an IR blaster, and Bluetooth 5.0. Sadly, like all Redmi Note devices thus far, no NFC.
